Littlest Pet Shop Card Maker

One of the three birthday cakes!

finally arrived after so many even my birthday!
For the occasion, three cakes were prepared.
Yes, I know usually do not have to drive to prepare the birthday cake, but when someone likes cooking immensely and can not wait to find an opportunity to get in the kitchen there is no tradition So yesterday and taken from my kitchen creations are three outputs to be eaten in three different times of day.

Unfortunately only one of them has had the chance to be immortalized (in units comunque frettolosi che non so quanto giustamente le rendano onore!!!).
Ma siccome tutte sono state un buon successo prometto che mi metterò all’opera per re impastare e re infornare cosi da poter poi fotografare anche le altre due!!!

BAKED CHEESECAKE al CIOCCOLATO e MANDARINI

per la base :
125 g burro freddo
80 g sugar
200 g flour
80 g cocoa

for the filling :
250 g cottage cheese (or Philadelphia)
50 g honey
2 large tangerines (peel and juice)
2 eggs

for decoration :
2 tangerines
½ cup sugar
1 cup water

quickly Mix together the ingredients for the base. Form a ball and let rest in refrigerator for half an hour. Roll out the dough and line the base and sides of a 22 cm cake tin and put in the fridge for another half hour.
Prepare the filling working on cream cheese with honey (ah, I used a honey flavored with lemon-myrtle is a plant that local flavor !!!), just add the lemon juice mandarins and zest, then the eggs and mix well.
Remove the base from the fridge and cook it in white for 15 min in the oven to 200 ˚ C. Lower the oven to 180 ˚, remove the base and pour the mixture, the king and bake for 30-40 minutes, until the filling is compact.
In a saucepan dissolve the sugar with water, dip 2 slices of mandarin and let simmer for 20-30 minutes. Drain and decorate the cake, when it is cool!

Ah, because it's (oops, was) my birthday I make a small exception and post the photo of my car gift.
not to anything to do with food and cooking, but it's too good to not deserve a photo on my blog:
OZZIE here, my gentle giant!
